I love them! I wear them indoors. I have osteoarthritis in my big toe and these totally eliminate the pain..perhaps because the allow the toe traction. I wear similar gloves on my hands for housework. They are cool in the summer because I don’t need socks. I am going to look for something for outdoors but I am restricted because I need a 35 (size 5).

I love this shoe! They are perfect for work, casual, and hitting the town; henceforth, a great everyday barefoot shoe. I would not recommend them for trail hiking. If you have worn the Vibram Classic or Alitza Loop, these are a bit small. Consider sizing up. I can’t say enough about how stylish and comfortable these shoes are. Well worth the purchase. I bought them in black and will be ordering the other colors also.

I use these as "water shoes" so I can haul my paddle board over rocks. The soles grip enough so that I stay on the board. I just rinse them out when I'm done an let 'em dry.
Please note that you need to order one full size up. That's the way they're manufactured.
These do the trick but I wouldn't call them "fashionable".

These adorable flats are great for the office, church, or hitting the town. They pair well with both casual and dress attire making them an excellent everyday minimalist shoe. They are soft, snug, and extremely comfortable. However, I would not recommend them for trail or rough terrain use. If you tend to fall between sizes, follow the recommendation to size up; they run small compared to the Classic and Alitza Loop styles.

I almost always take a size 8 a mule or a flip flop I will go down to a size 7 but 8 (38) is my size for dress, casual and athletic shoes. I purchased a size 39 (which to me would equate to a size 9 ) you mark 39 as a size 7 so no matter how you look at it, this shoe in a 39 should either be too big or too small for me. . . 39 fit perfectly! I'm glad I knew my sizes and spoke to other retailers to know, these run small, but with your sizing...I would have been confused and purchased the wrong size. . . just let customers know it runs about a size smaller than normal. You shouldn't make up your own sizing. Other retailers had it correct.....thank goodness!
Otherwise, the shoe is great! I use it for yoga, Barre and Pilates.

I love the Gold's Gym version of the shoe as well as the hemp walking version

My feet are 9 5/8" long, 3 1/2" wide so first I ordered size 40, which fits those specs, but my feet were swimming in them. I returned those and ordered both a 38 and a 39. My toes are long, second toe is slightly longer than the first, 3rd toe about the same length as the first and 4th, which rarely fits in most shoes, is about a 1/4" shorter than the 3rd toe. I watched the sizing video to see about getting the right fit. In the 38 the longest toe, my second toe fit about the way it should, according to the sizing video, but the other toes were painfully tight, especially the 4th toes. In the 39, the longest/second toe, is really too long, according to the video, other toes are pretty comfortable, though the 4th toe just barely fits. I'm not sure why the second toe is so long...? The toes of the shoes are a little loose, but comfortable and are more comfortable with socks. The strap is too long, but I'm handy enough with a needle and thread to sew on some extra velcro to make them stay closed. They're really cute shoes and I'll definitely wear them (the 39) with dresses. My foot is not quite shaped for these shoes to fit the way they should, but they're pretty comfortable. They look like they are designed for feet with a more sloped shaped toe box, as most barefoot shoes seem to be. First pair of 5 fingers. I'll check out the V Alphas, when they restock. I appreciate zappos free returns, since this is not offered on the vibram website.

I really like this shoe, however, if your toes are on the shorter side, it might be beneficial to go down a half size. I stuck with my traditional size 9 and it was roughly a centimeter too long. Overall, these are the perfect shoes for yoga, pilates, or any low-impact walking.

I like the fit and style of the shoe. I purchased these for my yoga class, but the straps are very uncomfortable when doing poses

These are a little long in the toes and the fabric ends in a weird place on my left foot, so it scrapes the top of my foot, but overall they are comfortable. I would return them, but I can't because I didn't notice the issues until I had been walking outside in them for an afternoon. I've been buying Five Fingers since 2008 and I love them overall.

I love the style yet still returned them. I did not expect the formed/structure sole from FiveFingers. I love the slightly formed sole, yet hate the overly formed heel cup. The formed heel cup completely is a no-go for me (it feels like a dress ballet flat in the heel) & I'm interested in something with more flexibility like the other FiveFingers styles. For the fit, I only own the Classic & KSO styles & the V-form is the perfect fit for me (even more so than these other styles.) The other thing is the material seems slightly dressy. I’m not sure if it’s just the sheen of the material in combo with the formed heel & sleek design, but I’m not sure if the fabric is as rugged & durable. I for sure would’ve kept them & not been concerned with the fabric if the heel cup wasn’t so structured! Considering Zappos return policy, it’s most definitely worth trying to see if they’ll work for you!

There’s a thin strap that goes over the top of your foot that digs in really uncomfortably. Sending these back.

These would have been awesome if not for the fit. These ran was smaller than my other pairs of Five Fingers. The strap is also far too short to cross the foot properly. Hopefully the next model will be improved!

So comfortable and light. Despite how thin and bare the soles feel, I was pleased that there is some protective padding at the bottom that does a nice job. I wear size 7.5 in most brands. Size 38 (7-7.5) fit perfectly, like a tight but comfortable glove. Good for yoga and dancing. The size 39 (7.5-8) fit more like a shoe, which I initially did not like as much. However, I decided to keep the larger size because I may add additional padding in the sole for dancing on very hard floors. I'm old, so the padding is important for me. This is my first pair of 5-finger shoes. Excellent! The soles are incredibly grippy.

Like little gloves for your feet. They just give you a tiny bit of grip and protection, and that's all. Plus they're actually quite pretty in the silver color. I love VFFs and really wanted to love these, but unfortunately, the sizing didn't quite work for me. I normally wear a 41 or 42 in VFFs, and I have a Morton toe (my second toe is longer than my big toe). The 41s were too tight on my toes, and the 42s were too loose around the rest of the foot. If they fit, they'd be great for indoor fitness (I'd been hoping to use them for barre and modern dance).

I don't hate this, but it was too small and tight on my foot as a size 7.5. While having not tried sizing up, I would strongly recommend getting a shoe size one half inch HIGHER than than your normal shoes. I wasn't excepting it to fit so tightly. I think I could have got away with a size 8 instead.

I really wanted to like this, and would’ve exchanged it for a size bigger because it was a little bit snug, but the Velcro strapping is a full 2 inches too short and I could not even secure it to my foot. I have moderately high arches and in steps, but this is an adjustable Velcro strap and that should be accommodated for.

I wear size 8 in dress shoes, 9 in most running shoes (except for APL where I were 9-1/2) and 39 in Vibrams (U can't go by any other number when buying Vibrams). The 39 and 40 in the V-Soul seemed indistinguishable to me. I bought both sizes since Vibram is not always consistent with its sizing.
However, I am having to return both because the straps barely wrap around my wide flat feet. Needed something classier and sturdier than the Vibram Vi-B to wear outside the house but these will not look classy if the velcro is showing. Very disappointed; had wanted so much to love these. Those with narrow feet might do well with these.

I tried to wear my size 39 while doing yoga but my right foot was hurting. I measured both shoes and the right one is 1/2 smaller than the left. Returning them as defective. I'm sure I would have loved them but am not sure I want to try again.

I ordered a a size 6 and returned them and then tried a 6.5 and returned them. They are way too small to be marked as these sizes. My money has yet to be refunded for either pair and the size 7 is out of stock. If they were sized properly I would have been able to order the correct size before they sold out.

Come on, Vibram. Many of us athletic women need a larger size than 10! Be realistic! You will sell more shoes if you offer an 11 and 12. Wearing men's shoes is NOT the same for a women's foot.

Would love to review any Five Fingers for women but I can't. They don't sell any for women that need larger than a size 10. Takes me back to the 70s and 80s when women who wore sizes over 10 were told to check out men's shoes. Never again! Five Fingers, you need to get out of the dark ages ! We tall women need sizes 11, 12, and sometimes longer. Please get with the program and you'll have more lady buyers. By the way, love Zappos !!!
