Fit is strange, but overall a good buy - I generally wear a size 5, but after trying these on locally I decided to buy a 6. When it arrived I found it to be painfully tight. Eventually I cut the elastic (it's hard to tell from the picture, but there is a hidden wide elastic strap underneath the top flap of the shoe. I left the small elastic that wraps around the button intact) and that improved matters, but the shoe was still too tight so I removed the insole. The insole was very comfy, but without it the fit is much roomier and the shoes are still very comfortable. One shoe also has a weird habit of getting the very tip of the shoe dented inward, so I may have to put a bit of something in the tip to stop that from happening. Overall these are comfortable and great quality, but the fit needs work (I do not normally need wide shoes!).

Comfortable - This shoe is comfortable, but like most shoes for me doesn't fit perfect. One foot is a 10 and the other foot a 10.5, both are narrow. I bought an 11N since 10.5N are about impossible to find. They slip just a bit on the heels and the elastic might prove to be bothersome, but the jury is out on that one. They still seem to be just a bit wide.

Cute Shoe! Cute shoe with great comfort. I have a slightly narrow foot and this shoe fit perfect.

The heel is too wide causing the shoe to slip on my heels causing irritation. I've had this style shoe before, but in narrow. At this time in my 70's my toes need more room, but my heels are still narrow.

Needed a smaller size

The length of this shoe was perfect but the width was a bit narrow for a wide. I really like this shoe...I am so disappointed!

I like this style of shoe. I have orders a few pairs in the past. This time the shoe size 7 felt too big and it slipped off my heel. I have ordered a size 7 narrow in the past and they fit fine, but this size 7 narrow was too large. I have not worn the shoes since I bought them. I do not have the original box the shoes were shipped in. I have tried several items inside the shoe to adjust for the large fit and nothing works. I want to return the shoes and try another style. Can I return this pair of shoes?

I have another pair of these in size 7.5 that fit great. These are labeled 7.5 but are bigger.

This is my 3rd or 4th pair of Clarks Unstructured and I've always been impressed with the step up in quality, The fit of this shoe was good-I wear an 8N and it was spot on in length and width. Unfortunately, the "good" story ends there. The quality of the leather used in construction has declined. The inner lining wasn't as soft and smooth and the leather used for the outer shoe was not soft and pliable. The sole was very stiff so even though the heel is narrow it tended to slip due to the stiffness. Bottom line--returned the shoe. Thanks to Zappos for easy shipping.

Shoe was fine as long as I didn't wear a sock. Too snug when worn with a sock. I bought the shoe for winter time when socks are needed.

Looked cheap in person

Looked sort of like clown shoes on me. And the loop is just decorative, it doesn't do anything helpful.

My feet measure 10.5 narrow, and I have narrow heels. Since Clarks doesn't sell 10.5, I tried this in an 11N. The shoes fit snugly, except that the toe was huge and clumsy...and the shoes looked huge on me. Also, don't be deceived by the un-loop feature; the loop does come off the button, but for no apparent purpose... it does not loosen the shoe.

Felt like a 10 medium labeled as a 9 1/2 wide. Too long and too narrow for my foot. And the upper was much stiffer and less comfortable than Clark's Unstructured shoes I've had in the past. And they're ugly with that seam down the center of the toe box with contrasting thread. I knew that going in, but would have worn them anyway if they'd been as comfortable as my old Unstructured shoes were.

9 1/2 Wide fit like a 10 Medium, leaving a gap behind the heel but too tight up front. (I've needed to opt for size 10 to get a fit in some shoes—there's no way I'm a size 9 in any width.) "UnStructured" has also become completely meaningless. Bought my first pair of Clarks UnStructured a dozen or so years ago, and the upper was soft and super comfortable from day one. I was at a conference and walked miles in them right out of the store, and wore those shoes everywhere for a decade. These uppers feel very stiff and hard. Might get more comfortable with wear, but felt awful trying them on. (I also think they're ugly, but would have worn them if they'd been as comfortable as my old pair was.)

I've owned these Clarks before and they were a perfect fit. Their biggest drawback at the time was that after a little while the sole started to squeak, but they were a good walking shoe. These Clarks are a completely different animal. They are wide despite being the narrow size that used to fit me. While the heel is almost okay for a narrow foot, the toe box is really large, making them sloppy. It's too bad. Why do shoe companies always have to "fix" what isn't broken.

Disappointed in this shoe. I had a pair in the past and they were so comfortable. This new shoe was small difficult to get into and very narrow. Had to return them.

I wanted to love this shoes as I have several friends that have this style and love them. The top of this shoe is just too high up on vamp of my foot and was just too snug. Perhaps a 1/2 size larger will make the difference, if not then this style is just not for me. Kudos to Zappos that make returns so easy.

I wanted to love these shoes. Clarks are usually the brand that fit me the best. The shoes themselves are super cute, but they were too tight on me. I normally wear a size 7 M but I had to return those. I then tried the 7.5 but they were too tight as well. So they are headed back too. I will need to try a different style.

I was disappointed after reading all the great reviews. I'm usually a standard size 10. These felt too snug and a little long. They are not all that attractive but I was going more for a great shoe for city walking.

I used to own several Clark's Unstructured shoes. I bought them years ago when they first came out and loved them. They were expensive, but the quality and comfort was worth the price. I had major foot surgery and my shoes size changed to where the size of the Clark's I owned were not fitting. So, sadly I had to let them go and donated my four pairs of Clark's unstructured shoes. I thought I would treat myself to a pair of these Clarks Un.Loop. WOW - I was so disappointed in the quality of the leather exterior, interior and total lack of support this shoe offered. I will say, the Unstructured line never had great support, but it was pretty good for casual times where not a lot of walking was required. Now, what little support was there is gone. FYI- I also ordered five other styles of Clark and found in all of them the overall quality of Clarks has gone way down hill. It is really sad because I was such a Clark's fan for years and they were one of my "go to" brands. I won't be wasting my time buying Clark's any longer.

I love Clark’s and really wanted to like this shoe based on the great reviews. Unfortunately it was just ugly. I have a hard time finding cute shoes that work with bunions. I returned these and will keep looking.

I have worn out three pairs of these shoes, but my feet have changed and perhaps the styling and fit have changed. Even the wide version of these shoes no longer fits. I'm on the hunt for similar shoes that are wide across the ball of my foot (curses, you bunions!), but NOT wide in the heel. Any suggestions?

The shoe was well constructed. Unfortunately, the way the shoe was constructed around the big toe made it uncomfortable to wear (shoe kept rubbing against my toe) . Too bad.
