I'm not surprised. Not many companies understand what extra wide means. My feet have, at my age, shrunk due to natural skeletal contraction, so they are not wider than they were 20 years ago. 95% of all companies today that manufacture "wide" have regressed on this measurement. Companies like New Balance (once the gold standard of comfortable widths) and Clarks now feature a smaller toebox for appeal, over comfort. Now you have to find four extra wide (few and far between) to match a simple extra wide of years back.

Nice shoes just need a bigger size

True to size. I’m a size 12 in Vans, Nike Adidas and most New Balance. I’ve owned a lot of Clarks and these are by far the most comfortable, far better than the Shacre, those are too narrow, not very comfortable and I wear an 11 1/2 in those. These are very similar to the Stinsons.

If you are looking for a boot-style Wallabee that are more comfortable to wear than the pricier version, these are great. I am picky about shoe comfort, and the classic Wallabee is miserable to walk in for me. These have modernized padding and are much more comfortable for me to wear. Missing are some of the style niceties like the leather tags and extra laces, but that's fine by me.

Love the style, but unfortunately wide wasn't wide enough for me. The upper is fairly soft suede that may have stretched to fit, but didn't want to chance it on $100 shoes that I wouldn't be able to return after they were worn.
