I had not worn Puma since the 20th century, but I was unsatisfied enough with some other brands to give them a try. I'm glad I did. So glad, in fact, that I have since purchased 2 more pairs of Puma for future rotation. They are comfortable, lightweight, nicely cushioned, with breathable uppers and a good lacing system. I've logged nearly 200 miles on them so far almost without complaint. What are my complaints? I have 3: first, the sizing *for me* is a bit small. What do I mean? They fit as sized, but I think I could do with a half-size up. They don't feel "too small," just not *quite* as roomy at the toe as they might. Second, there's a bit too much loose upper; I really have to tighten the laces down and this scrunches up the material above the tongue. Third (and this is my biggest one), I am somewhat doubtful about just how much more the soles can endure. I like to get 350 miles from a pair of shoes on asphalt, and these have been showing visible signs of wear for about 30 miles now. I run over 1,000 miles per year, so I go through a lot of shoes. I've worn dozens of pairs of Adidas, Asics, Brooks, New Balance, Nike, and Saucony, as well as the oddball brand here and there. For repeat buys, I'm pretty steady with Adidas, Asics, and (until recently) New Balance. I would definitely add Puma to the repeat buy list (and did). With my sizing (important as the feet swell over miles) and robustness concerns, I would especially recommend these to new/returning runners with normal/forefoot strike. They feel light on the feet throughout the run, and that can be very important to keep the motivation going.

These velocity 4 run extremely narrow I had take r laces holes out get shoes on . The cushioning was perfect . I have return look for other brand wider all black . I had velocity 2 no issues . I will probably get cliffin 10 wide or brooks . The only issue with these shoes are extremely narrow and shoe laces too short
