The fit and size was great. I initially hesitated purchasing these shoes because of the heel height. I really wanted a pair and these were lovely. I wore them for the first time - the height of the shoe is great and very comfortable. While shopping, I kept looking down because the sole of the shoe was very cushiony. I thought I was on carpet when in actuality, I was on a hard floor. Really nice shoes.

Unfortunately will be returning. Very cute and comfortable but a 1/2 size too big.

Very attractive shoes but the toe box felt slightly loose; almost as if I could bend my foot and wiggle my toes out if I tried. My feet are slightly narrow though. Also, the rubber sole is extremely thin and would probably wear through to the jute after just a couple of wearings, but a cobbler could probably apply something to reinforce the sole. Sadly had to return due to the looseness.

The sizing with this shoe was very odd. I read online this style ran large so where I normally wear an 8 for closed toe shoes, I went with 7.5. The 7.5 was very wide and roomy in the toe box (a finger gap of space between my foot and the shoe) and it was short! My big toe was hitting the end. And the side of the toe box was digging into the side of my foot despite being Wide. I then ordered the 8 and the 8 was not wide and roomy in the toe box and naturally it was longer so that fixed the shortness problem. So even though it’s more money, I would get your true size and then go up a half size and return the one that doesn’t fit. Thankfully returns are easy.
