These look much nicer online than they do in person. I didn’t realize there was a seam running down the side of them. That, and the material that makes up the heel of the boots, make the boots look more “granny” than cool. I also found them lacking in the level of comfort I expected from this brand. I found them uncomfortable walking around on the carpet in my living room so I knew they weren’t going to work out on the street of NYC. Returned them.

I generally love Taos footware, but this boot just didn’t work for me. No arch support to speak of. The top rubbed against my outer calf. Even with leggings on, I was worried about blisters. I liked the look of the boot though.

Incredibly uncomfortable

I absolutely LOVE these boots! On my feet all day and SO comfortable and stylish!

Disappointment. This is not a supportive shoe as much as it looks good, and my feet hurt after trying them around the house for several hours. If you need something to look pretty in, go forth, but I would not advise significant walking. The toe box is constructed in a manner that force stretches your toes upwards while pushing the bony/sole of your foot, where you place the most weight down whilst no cushioned support. There is no common sense applied to construction of these shoes. It is an unnatural position for anyone for significant walking and especially for higher arch. I own Taos Wollery sleepers, which are a vacation for my feet, but have yet to find any other Taos shoe that comes close to meeting the same comfort and quality standard.

Beautiful shiny leather. Very comfy. Cushioned removable footbed. A little too clunky to wear with skirts and dresses. But very cute with jeans

Almost perfect, except I don't like the stitching off to the side. Gave it an odd look.
