I LOVE these boots!! This is my first pair of Born and I absolutely love them! Not only are they very comfortable and true to size but they are stylish. I can’t wait for cooler weather so that I can wear them!

Very similar to their Cross boots. The beautiful dark blue distressed color has a dark teal cast to it. Difficult to find boots in this color and it goes great with denim. So comfy plus that great Born quality!

Bought this in the dark gray color, which is dark enough to go with anything you'd wear black boots for. They are really cute with the distressed leather, strapping and tassel detail. They look great with a skinny jean, but also cute with tights and a skirt. They are a bit taller than the typical ankle boot, and pretty close fitting on top, so probably not good for a wide calf. And typical of Born, they have great arch support and are really comfortable to wear for all day. A great fall/winter boot!

I am so pleased with these boots, oh so comfortable and the look is fabulous. I can barely wait for the weather to turn cold. They feel more like house shoes instead of boots. These are my second pair of Born boots and they never let me down.

Huge. I saw no way to adjust to make these sandals fix snugger.

I ordered a size 8 & a size 9 in the same shoe. These 8 was huge. I normally wear 8 1/2.

The shoe feels wide. I have foot problems. One ankle swells. I hoped these would work. They’re so cute. My feet are the problem. The shoes are good.

Fit well and are very comfortable. The only complaint I have, they are more of a teal color and don't go with everything. Wish they came in blue, rather than teal.

These were comfortable and well made. I liked the style but the overall shape made my foot look very long and skinny (kind of Sideshow Bob-ish) so I returned them.

This was a cute boot. I wear an 8.5 in regular shoes so normally order boots in a 9 to allow room for different socks. This boot in a 9 was too large for me, even with socks. I tried a thicker (probably too warm) sock, which helped but then made the toes too tights, so sadly, they're going back. Also, they were heavy, so not a great choice if you want them for a lot of walking.

I love the style of this boot, but as a lot of reviews have said, it definitely runs larger. My heel swims in these (which is a problem I have with a lot of boots -- why can't shoe makers make boots where your heels don't swim??) I'm ordering another Born boot in size 9 to see if the fit is better. If not, I'll keep these and just get a heel insert to tighten it up, but overall it's a beautiful boot!

I liked the overall look but the boots were too wide and a bit of space in at the toes. I wear 8 and this felt more like 8.5 so I had to return them and none were available in black.

Absolutely beautiful, high quality shoes. Unfortunately, the toe box is too narrow to fit my toes and I need a wider toe box. The rest of the shoe felt amazing. Bummed to return them. If you have regular feet and don't need/want your toes to be able to splay naturally, these would work for you.

Color was really a dark TEAL--not the Navy I was expecting. Quality boot and great comfort. Weight is A little heavier than I expected.

I went with one reviewer who said to go down a half-size- So I ordered 8.5 instead of 9. But they were not wide enough for me, and I had to return them. Very cute though.

A darling boot - so attractive, well made, great quality. However, due to my foot problems, these boots were not going to be comfortable for all-day wearing. This is a low-heeled boot that would be cute whether worn with slacks, or with skirts and leggings!

I do like these foods, because they’re very comfortable and cute. I made some adjustments though. Because I walk fast and wear leggings, the tassels annoyed me. So I cut them off. It was relatively easy – there was stitching holding the cross strap and tassel in place. I just cut above and below the stitching. My one gripe is that in black, the shoes look more suede than stressed leather. But the boot is so cute, comfortable, and functional that I wouldn’t want anything else.

Returned these boots only because I wasn’t just “in love” with them and figured they wouldn’t end up in my boot rotation very often. I felt like they would have been cuter with maybe a toe cap to break them up visually. I liked the grey color and they were super comfortable right out of the box.

Was wanting a nice brown color, but wasn't sure about the taupe distressed, thought it looked not-so-pretty online, and the black had nothing to break it up, so black...so ordered distressed grey. I like the grey color, but don't love the grey color. Besides not being 100% with color choices, I already wear these all the time(obviously keeping) I'm petite and these are very petite looking, great for my skinny legs! Great support, feel like you can walk and walk and have good support but not too much that they hurt your arch. These run a tad narrow, but on-spot for length size. Also love the heel height. Great everyday boot but a tiny height for my five foot frame:)

I am usually a 6.5. I ordered these in the 6 and 6.5. These boots are beautiful and the support is nice and comfortable. I wish I could have kept them. The 6 was too narrow for me. The 6.5 was too long. If I had to characterize the fit on these, I'd say that Born seems to run a little long and narrow. Even accounting for the heavier socks that I wear in winter, I just felt like there was too much space. But since feet are so unique, I'd say these are absolutely worth trying if you're looking for a low heeled more casual style black boot.

These are really comfy , casual boots . I’ve never owned a pair of born boots before but I really like the styling and comfort! I teach courses so I’m on my feet a lot . I wanted something that was comfortable but still stylish and these fit the bill ! Look so sleek with black pants or leggings !! Just be aware , they run big . Almost a full size . I’m a 9.5 occasionally a 10. I ended up exchanging the 9.5 for a 9. They were slightly wide but I have extremely narrow feet . Nothing I couldn’t manage with a thicker sock . Going down a 1/2 size also helped with the width .

The length and width of the shoes were good - I do have a relatively narrow foot. However, if you don't have a high instep or "higher" toes, there is no way to tighten them. My foot flopped around in them. Returning.

The problem with this design is the tight space between the metal buckle & the leather (plus velcro) pulling piece; therefore, it is tricky and time consuming putting them on and taken them off. In my opinions, the style, weight, finishes and craftmanship of these sandals are very good. True to size. 6.5 M
