Could be wider in body

Classic shirt

I've owned the iconic Oxford Shirt for probably 30 years. The current version fits well as it always has (classic fit). The material is a little thinner than in the past, though. Still, I would buy it .

Quality is very good. I'm generally satisfied. But it's a little bit long to me.

I recently Ordered eight white oxford shirts. Seven of them were great. The eighth one had a stubborn black stain on the right shoulder. I had to return that one.

Classic Oxford looks great and fits great. Nice shirts are expensive today, but there is value in this shirt. Proportions are great and it holds its form throughout the day. Really happy with my selection.

Nice relaxed take on a classic shirt. I got this shirt in my regular extra large and the fit was as expected, loose but not baggy and still providing a good clean look. The style goes great with jeans or slacks which I like and I feel you could layer it if you'd like. The quality is what I expect from the brand. I feel you can never go wrong with a timeless look like this.

I think one of the aspects my step son loves about this shirt is the versatility. He pairs it with slacks and it looks dressy. He pairs it with jeans and rolls up the sleeves and it looks casual. It has very light blue lines and has the Ralph Lauren logo on the front. The only negative thing I can say is that it runs a bit on the small side. My son wears a Medium and this was very snug. Thank goodness he doesn't really have a belly if not it wouldn't have fit. I recommend buying one size larger.

This is a great shirt for kicking things up a notch on the style side! It's definitely not too fancy, so pairing with a pair of jeans is the perfect option when going out to dinner or a business casual work meeting. So far the post-wash quality also remains positive which helps me wear this shirt more frequently as I don't have to do much once it bring it out of the dryer and hang it up in the closet.

This classic fit Oxford shirt by RL is very comfortable with a stylish edge. The best part is you can dress it up as much as you want or wear it as everyday wear. It's wasn't too hot and easy to move around in. I actually really love this Oxford! Even after washing it still looked new without any fading of colors or fabric and didn't need much ironing for the next wear.

This is a nice, classic shirt in a traditional fit. The button-down collar makes it versatile enough to wear to work or for casual outings. It pairs with casual pants, jeans, and khakis. To make it more casual, I like to roll up the sleeves, for a relaxed look.

High quality and classic shirt. Fits true and perfect. Works great for casual or dressed up for meetings, you cannot go wrong. Very comfortable material , breathable make it prefer for any weather. Looks professional and smart

This shirt fits me very nicely (male 5'11" 165 lb, medium shirt). It feels slim fit but comfortable. This is the first Oxford shirt I have owned in many years. One thing I noticed is that the material is thicker than most dress shirts, which may be good or bad depending on your preference.

Cool,breathable,and stylish dress shirt that can be worn with khakis or even jeans. Only if the tag did not itch my back would it be very comfortable. The sleeves fit very well butt the cuffs around my wrist is to tight.

Very comfortable material and fits well (a little big but more on that later). I got many compliments while wearing this shirt, if i get compliments it quickly turns to a favorite shirt! The sizes might run a little big however, that the only complaint, I do buy my shirts big on purpose but I think this time I could have went my normal size and felt very comfortable.

This Classic Fit Striped Oxford Shirt is top notch just like all Polo clothes. The materials, fit, and craftsmanship are all excellent. The stripes are vertical which is slimming, a real plus for heavier guys!

The shirt was soft and comfortable. It went well with jeans or dockers to either wear to work or on casual evening. The only downfall is that is wrinkles very easily, so will require some extra attention to keep it looking crisp.

I am not sure why this shirt has the price tag that it has (is having the polo player on the shirt really worth that much?), but you can get the same quality shirt from other brands much cheaper. One major flaw with this shirt, no chest pocket. All button down shirts should have a chest pocket! Wouldn't buy again.

Only alpha sizing and i'm sure everyone knows all the problems with that! Also "Imported". And at a price at which competitors are offering neck and sleeve sizing AND "Made in America". No comparison in quality. Talking only about OCBD's.

'Medium' is the size, that is my regular fit. On this occasion the medium is much too tight across the upper chest. In this particular model I will need a large size, to achieve a in comfortable fit. I will therefore need to return the product. Also the shading on the received product was much brighter than the shading worn by your model.

Although the shirt appears well made, the sizing was disappointing. I selected the classic fit specifically because I expected it would have a generous cut. However, I found the body of the shirt to be somewhat narrow, even though I ordered a medium because it encompassed my chest size i.e., 40 inches. (Inexplicably, the description of a size medium contradicted the size chart: the latter indicated a medium had a 38-40 inch chest size, while the former stated that a medium had a 46 inch chest size, which seemed improbable). The sleeves also were a bit narrow, although the length was fine. I considered exchanging the medium for a large, but if the size chart is accurate the sleeves on a large would have been too long. One can only imagine how even more narrow the "trim fit" version of the shirt must be if what I ordered is considered a "classic fit."
