Beautiful workmanship ...... Way too narrow, no width options & the heel is 1.5 inches NOT 2 inches as described ....

Very cute boots. I purchased these in black in my usual Taos size of 40 (9-9.5). I have Crave boots, sneakers and slip ons all in this size and they fit great. This boot, however, was too tight both in width and length at my usual size. For reference, I wear a 9 in dress shoes and a 9 1/2 typically in boots/sneakers so that I can wear sport or wool socks. I returned the Privilege 2 in size 40 and got the 41 which are PERFECT (thank you, Zappos, for easy returns). I wear them with wool socks and they feel great. They are, like some say, a little stiff, but this improved with even a short wear. I may trade out the firm insole for something more cushy, but right now it's still very comfortable. I have many styles of black boots, but these will be my travel boots due to their versatility and because they are light weight.

Love Taos. These were so stiff I had trouble getting them on and off. They didn't fit right (Taos shoes and boots seem to run small and while I am normally an 8 or 8.5 i need a 9 in Taos, which is what these were.) It seemed that at some point, if I wore them a lot, they would break in but they were so stiff I did not want to give that a try. I returned them. Which is too bad, because they are really beautiful.

The boots look great, and they are on sale at a good price. However, I could comfortably wear all my other Taos sandals and boots right out of the box, but not these boots. They are far too inflexible, so I have to return them.

The right boot squeezes really loud with every step and the right boot heel isn’t on right because it hurts the heel of my foot
