I don’t think these would be comfortable for anyone with high arches or instep. They are not a true wide size, and we’re so tight that my foot went numb. I ordered wide and sized up, but they were still too narrow.

Unfortunately, these shoes do not fit well and I will be returning them. They are not long enough and there is not enough room in the toe box.

They are comfortable to walk/run. Lots of space for toes, just enough cushion. Seems like cushioning deteriorates quickly in Altras.

Love the style and comfort! For me these are comfortable than Kuru Quantum, HOKA Clifton, any of the New Balances, and Brookes Ghosts. These are my new go-to for long walks on pavement. Thank you Altra!

Not neutral shoes and NOT for people with high arches. The sole put pressure on my outer foot forcing my feet to overpronate (tilt inward). It was super uncomfy, returned.

The size is right 9. The tongue of the shoe didn't match with the eyelets. There was space - just a little - between the tongue and the eyelets. The eyelets were on an extra piece of rubber/plastic/? that was NOT attached to the eyelet side of the shoe. After wearing for 20 min in my home, I had a red spot at that exact place. I cannot wear them. I ordered a pair of wides in the same size. I am wondering if my usually medium foot needs a wide in this style Altra. All my other Altras have been medium width.

this show was delivered used- dirty soles and worn heels, etc... I have never had this kind of experience with Zappos, hopefully it won't continue

These shoes do not have the same room as the Paradigm 7. I can not wear my orthotics in them. So very disappointed.

This has been my first attempt with Altra, as I have been trying to find a shoe to accommodate foot drop I have experienced with Multiple Sclerosis. I have to use an AFO, which is very unforgiving with shoes. I have fought for years with the toe box of other brands, which is much better on the Altra. I am going to order a second pair, in a half-size larger, to see which works best. Using an AFO definitely causes shoe issues….I am hopeful the Altra may resolve that dilemma

While these shoes fit my wide feet with bunions, had decent arch support and cushioning, they were not comfortable for me due to the low heel to to height.

Actually, I just returned to the Altra brand after being away for six years. My go to shoe with Altra is the Paradigm. I do wear an orthotic from the podiatrist inside the shoe. The shoe feels it has a bit more cushion than previous which I had to get use to. The Guide Rail is there for stability. And the shoe has toe room. Good fit once the shoe laces are just so for the feet and then provides support to the legs/hips. Grateful to find a shoe. Wear it every day.

Too small and narrow!! This is significantly smaller and is uncomfortable to wear. I want to peel them off my feet after running in them. Altra, what have you done? These used to be supreme comfort! Now? They're a waste of money.
