These loafers strike a perfect balance between style and function. Despite their rugged, substantial outsoles — which provide excellent traction — they’re surprisingly lightweight, making them comfortable for long wear. The leather is high quality and softens beautifully with time and use. The insoles are removable, which is a nice feature for those who prefer to use custom orthotics. Personally, I found the included insoles a bit too thick for my comfort; they add slight height at the heel, which made me feel as though my foot was being pushed forward with each step, almost like walking on a mild incline. Once I removed them and left only the thin fabric insole, the fit felt more grounded, balanced, and natural. Overall, these are elegant, well-made loafers that combine practicality with timeless style. I’m very pleased with them and look forward to wearing them often. For reference, I bought them in black and in a size 10.

This is a very stylish shoe, easy to walk in. Comfortable. Looks great with dress socks and black trousers. My only note is that the middle of the shoe is a little on the narrow side. I normally wear medium width shoes and was able to keep my usual size. The length of the shoe is true to size. Keep in mind if you have a wide foot, this may not work , order wide or buy a different pair. I found the snug middle of the shoe to be helpful, the back of the shoe doesn’t slide off when I walk.

These are a perfect fit for my very narrow size 42 foot. My heel does not slip out and the shoe fits around the thin top of the foot as well (with an added foot pad). Unbelievable. I usually procrastinate to open up the shoe boxes, because 70% of the time, they are too wide in one way or the other. I just put them on for the first time and hope that these shoes will last many years!

Ecco always is on top comfort

As others have noted, the shoe is a bit tight across the mid foot, which works well for my low volume feet. The insoles come in two layers so you can pull one out to make it less tight, though I still wouldn’t recommend these for wide feet. I ordered my usual EU size 40, and it seems a little long but I suspect 39 will be too tight for me so I’m keeping these. It’s a great style that looks good with full length jeans or suit pants. Much more comfortable than the ecco loafers with thinner soles.

It’s a bit snug but that’s what you want to keep the shoe from slipping and creating blisters. I recommend socks but you can wear them barefoot.

These look great and are comfortable. Ecco always delivers quality.

This cute shoe was way too small, therefore cannot rate the comfort. Seems well made and pretty light weight. Had to return.

Base is just too clunky for me.
