Beautifully crafted classic. The length of this shoe is perfect with enough room for my long toes. Zero pinching. The width seemed tight at first even on my narrowish, low volume foot. But the leather and insole are conforming to my feet. The heel is perfect: no slip; no rub. Since it’s notoriously hard to find loafers that fit, I wonder if the materials were chosen to conform to wearer. I’ve no doubt this will be a great shoe for city walking.

Narrow, stiff and uncomfortable; no arch support

I measured my foot and bought the size 40; I am a 9 -9.5 so that tracks. I wear size 41 in the soft 7 series, so I was a bit worried these would be too small. They fit perfectly! I love how supportive they feel and so comfy! Slightly heavy but not so much my legs would be fatigued after long use.

These are beautiful shoes, but the fit is not for me. I am usually a perfect size 7.5/38 in Ecco footwear and have had success with their shoes and sandals in the past. These loafers are very stiff, narrow, and uncomfortably tight. I tried one shoe with a light sock, and I could tell they would not soften or stretch with a break-in period. The leather and soles are substantial and quite heavy for my more petite frame. Very disappointing because they would have been great with trousers, jeans, etc.
