The material is somewhere between stiff and stretchy, but not uncomfortable. I fit easily in a size 10 when I need a size 10.5 in pretty much every other shoe. My foot is average to a teeny bit wide, and it was a comfortable fit. The ties stay in place when tied in a bow. Returned because the placement of the ties and the shape of the shoe made my ankles and calves look stumpy, not very flattering.

Believe it or not the shoes were exactly as I thought they would be as described on the site for sale. Material is soft and fit perfectly. Felt so good am wearing them out to dinner tonight. Awesome Shoes.

Unfortunately these shoes did not work out for me. I have skinny, narrow feet and the shoes were too wide on me. Also, the strap would not stay tight. I double knotted it and it would still come loose. Returned
