These were surprisingly comfortable right out of the box. I am normally a 7.5W in women's shoes so the 38 was perfect. There is a zipper on the inner ankle side so I didn't have any problems getting my foot inside. I'm actually enjoying Danskos again because these zipper low-cut booties have a lower heel and rubber sole, unlike the traditional rocker clogs. I just feel more secure walking in these as they aren't as high and my heel isn't loose in the shoe. My feet have a lot of movement/room inside but my heel doesn't come out like a traditional clog because I'm zippered in. I'd say these fit looser than a "shoe" style and not as loose as a "clog" style. I do have a small bunion on one foot and I'm so pleased the this bootie is wide enough that there is no rubbing. I got the taupe color and it's quite attractive. I can wear thin cotton low-cut socks.

The heel slipped when I walked. It was too wide, Although the descirption states that it is leather lined, only the insole is leather. Tne rest of the shoe is lined with fabric. I have several pairs of Dansko shoes which I find very comfortable, but I had to return this pair.

I've looked for style & comfort for months. Everything about this shoe is what I want, but Dansko sizing has always eluded me. 1/2 size larger than 'most' European 38 and on the wide side. So cute that I'm debating on trying to adapt with really fat socks - extra cushion, boot socks aren't cutting it and I think if I size down, they'll still be wide.

They were not easy to slip on and off and felt stiff.

Really liked the shoe but it was just too big. I tried them with my thickest socks and they were still too big. I have worn a size 36 in Dansko shoes for years but lately they all seem to run large

If you love wearing Dansko clogs, you’ll love these. They are extremely comfortable and supportive. I have a high instep and traditional cogs are sometimes tight across the band but since these are designed to fit at mid-ankle they are a perfect t solution. I bought my usual Dansko size 37. I wear a 7-1/2 in regular shoes.

I initially thought I was going to have to return these because they are a little loose around the ankle. There’s a zipper on the side and I can slip my feet inside without un zipping it. I took a chance and wore these to the office all day and they are some of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever put on. They are just like my other Danako shoes, very supportive and my feet feel absolutely amazing when I wear them. They’re super comfortable, and I think pretty cute as well.

Very comfortable, just a bit too large for my comfort.
