I love these shoes! I designated that the shoes feel a half-size smaller only because I typically wear 10.5 (Men's,) and this shoe is only offered in whole sizes. I got a size 11 and they fit perfectly. The current trend in shoes seems to be toward slip-ons, and these toggle closures. I have mixed feelings about the toggle method of shoe closure. I have returned two pairs of "non-UGG" shoes that used variations of this method of closure. Some manufactures seem to do it better than others. I would say UGG figured it out. I have also noted other reviews for this shoe that indicate that it is difficult to get your foot into. I have discovered that you have to experiment with loosening the toggle, and with the edge that the toggle closes. If you do it right, the shoe goes on with little effort. Style wise these shoes are great. People keep saying, "I love your shoes, where did you get them (I got the green color, which was on sale at the time...) While these shoes are not hiking boots suitable for an arctic expedition, if you're looking for a pair of warm boots suitable for walking the dog in melting snow, or for a walk downtown on a cold day, I would recommend these shoes without reservation (and I'm picky!)

The fit and size were perfect. I got a mens and it was perfect. The height is very comfortable and no socks are needed. I love them!

I love them. The Height is great so you can wear them as boots and shoes and they feel very comfortabe.
