I have high arches, high instep, wide footbed, narrow heel. The Sorel Revel Ave Loafer was generally a good fit, I really need a 7W. Not crazy about the color tobacco. I do love Sorel as a brand.

These are so fun and comfortable! I love the shiny black with an ankle sock.

Loafers are hard to fit, and I have wide feet. But these actually fit like a dream in my true size. They are super soft and cushioned and great quality with soft leather. However, I am 5'3 and had an issue with the topline of the loafer on both sides of the heel hitting against the bottom of my ankle bones. It wouldn't cause a blister, but it does cause pain. A heel insert with a little lift will solve the problem.

I love these chunky loafers. Perfect for fall with jeans or pants. I wish they came in a wide width but I'm hoping the leather will stretch with wearing. My forefoot is a bit too wide for this shoe, but that's a problem I often have these days, alas.

Stylish loafers however came up to high on the side and hit my ankle so have to return.

I love these shoes! They were comfortable from the moment I put them on. Most shoes slide on my heal but these do not. I love Sorel shoes ! I also like ordering from Zappos. The customer service is always great !

This is really a great shoe. Looks so cute on and would go with jeans as well as dressier slacks for work. I just found that my right heel slipped a bit so am sending them back. I’ve noticed this with other shoes I’ve tried on in the past year so am thinking it’s likely my foot and not the shoe. I highly recommend this shoe though.

I just received these shoes and I am overly excited about them! Based on reviews, I sized down to a 10.5 from my usual size 11 and grateful I headed the review! The 10.5 are perfect! They are stiff, but made it easier to slide my foot in. Most impressive is the comfort they provide! Wore them to work and by the end of the day, my feet felt fantastic! Soooo beyond happy! They do have a shiny sheen to them which I also love! I do have a normal width foot and found no tightness anywhere whatsoever. These shoes will be a forever go to shoes as they easily dress up and dress down.

I ordered these in a size seven, and they were a tad too big. The 6.5 fits perfectly. I'm usually a 7 or 6.5 in Sorel's. Comfortable right out of the box. Gorgeous shoe.

I really need a 7W. Otherwise, these would have been perfect. Love the style and shine.

The shoe was beautiful, but way too narrow. Unfortunately, I have to return these.

I feel like they will slip on my heel and they are a bit too clunky for my style.

Too wide

When I opened this box, I thought someone had sent me a size 9. If you are a 7 as I am, buy this in a 6.5 or maybe even a 6. It was very wide and long on my foot; I would not have been able to keep it on my foot. Or plan to wear them with heavy socks.

I love the look of these chunky loafers, but I have now bought them in my regular size (7) which was way too big and then 6.5 which was still gapping and slipping in the heel. I have to return both, but I do have a very narrow heel so that may be part of the problem. Just neither size worked for me unless I would wear a thick sock which I don't intend to do. :)

Disappointed. I read too many reviews saying that this brand is usually too short. It was certainly not too short on me. Thick sox did not make up for the extra length.

These shoes are very cute, but uncomfortable. The heel was inflexible and rubbed on my heel when walking. Not willing to purchase a pair of shoes that don't feel good from the first trying on!
