The Velcro after 30 days no longer works. I’m an avid runner and my son wanted shoes like me.. he now hates the brand bc his new shoes don’t close

Not as cushioning as the adult version. Sizing was a perfect fit. The material is cool and breathable.

Purchased for my 9 year old daughter for back to school and as soon as she put them on she said they feel amazing. She’s been between a 13 and 1 so I ordered a size 1 and they fit perfect with a little growing room.

My 7.5-year-old daughter loves these shoes; she says they're very comfortable. However, as other reviewers have noted, the Velcro began to fail after 2.5 months of wear. Given that we paid $100 for these shoes, this should not be an issue. When Hoka fixes the Velcro issue, we will gladly repurchase, but until then, we will not be buying this brand again.

My kiddo loved these shoes but the Velcro stopped working after only a few weeks! We tried cleaning it and nothing worked. Very unfortunate considering the price and otherwise great shoe.

these were purchased as a gift so I cannot review fit or comfort but Hokas are generally quite comfortable. I just wish they had more variety of colors for little kids. However this particular pair had obviously been worn more than once. Soles were visibly dirty and the velcro had hair stuck to it.

Buyer beware: My daughter was so excited for her first pair of Hokas (like Mom!)…the velcro on these did not last 3 weeks. It wasn’t great when we got them, which should have been a sign, but I assumed it would stay put. I was wrong! The Velcro will no longer stick on the left shoe and barely does on the right. For the price, I am incredibly disappointed in the quality.

These shoes are a total disappointment. They were the big birthday gift for my 8 year old daughter and she has worn them for one week and the velcro does not work. Hence the shoes are completely unusable. Not what I would expect from this brand or this cost.

The Velcro on the straps failed in the first month. I tried contacting Hoka about this since $100 kids shoes are a big spend. After filing a warranty claim and sending photos etc. they pretty much told me to return them to Zappos… but it was now after the return window. Not the type of quality or customer support you expect from this brand
