Not a bad looking shoe. HOKA shaved off the wide base under the ball of the foot but, to make up for the loss in width, the tongue is no longer padded under the laces and the material used on top of the shoe feels like a thinner knit. Hold the shoe up to light and look inside and you can see light coming through. Could be a good, light, summer shoe for someone but won't hold up long under my work conditions. I have to crouch and bend quite a bit, carry heavier items from time to time, and stand on my feet all day. The HOKA Bondi style held up pretty well but started to snag and shred on top of the toe box. Support was excellent. I didn't wear the Mafate style long enough to compare, just tried them on. I really needed the 9W, not the 9 1/2 medium. Had extra length but felt narrow. Maybe a great running shoe for someone, but not the cushiony, arch-supported, durable work shoe I was hoping for.

Felt great, true to size, good cushion. I typically get some type of blister from any new shoe. Took this out of the box and walk 16 miles with no break or blister. Highly recommend. I have never had a shoe I could do that with in my entire life.

These ran small for me. Hoping there will be a 9.5 back in stock soon. Love the colors and look and feel of the shoe but the 9 feels shorter than my Skyflow.

the size felt perfect, color was excellent! nylon upper did not feel comfortable it also felt pressure under the tongue.
