I love the fit of these Challenger 8 shoes. They are so comfortable for everyday wearing and for walking on streets and on the trail. And I love the salmon color.

I'm a longtime fan of Clifton for running and was converting them into everyday shoes, but they only last so long. After trying a variety of Hoka styles I'm in love with these! The wide toe box (without needing a wide size) fits great and the shoes are just super comfy. I'm on my second pair and recommend. PS There is a fit difference between the GTX style and this.

So my ride or die is Clifton 9s, but as I was advancing to be a collegiate runner I figured I'd try out a different shoe for my cross country season. My takeaways are they were great for trail running, but I noticed the bottoms of mine were coming off with the first month of having them, it's been slow and not enough to be completely falling off but I was kind of bummed that it was happening in general. Honestly, could of just been that pair and it probably isnt like that for every single pair. Road running has also been fine but I was looking for a shoe more for trail and I've loved these. They are actually extremely breathable, and although I feel like the Clifton 9s are more cushioned these still offered good support and cushion!
