I am a big guy. These shoes provide great ankle support and cushion for trail walking/running. easily the best trail runners I have owned.

I just bought a pair so I don't need to throw on an actual pair of boots when it snows and I'm out walking my dog. They're comfortable enough that I am wearing them all day like normal sneakers during the day while practicing as a dentist.

These are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. I finally found a pair that meets my needs. Had surgery on my foot this past year and these shoes provided a very comfortable recovery. I also survived a 3 week journey in Japan thanks to these shoes. I am considering buying another pair for when they eventually wear out but after constant use for nearly a year they still look and feel good.

The Fresh Foam X Hierro Hiker are extremely comfortable, and they do not sacrifice stability. They are very durable and versatile on the trail, and they also transition easily to the streets during light to moderate wet and snowy weather. In my personal experience, the Gortex can cause the fit to feel a little snugger than normal, and because my feet are slightly wider, and my dominant foot is almost exactly my true to sizeI went up a half size because the length felt a little too short for me specifically.

Made my toes sore after a few days of use. Felt like the fabric on the edges in between the layers was bundled up and pressing against my toes. Needless to say used them for about a week or so. Now in the closet. The older style was way more comfortable.

Best shoes I've ever bought! Extremely comfortable. The only issue is that they get warm and my feet sweat.
