Best of the On Cloud

My husband really likes these shoes. I bought a pair for myself and told him how much I like them so he asked me to order a pair for him. He describes them as true to size, bouncy, comfortable straight out of the box.

Great and very comfortable to walk, the toebox feel very spatious.

Excellent shoe for running

The upper is very thin but also high volume. The tongue especially needs a bit more padding. Definitely order a half size shorter than normal. The feel is on the firm side, fairly stable if we’re just talking about the bottom of the show, but the thin upper makes your foot feel unstable. Returned/refunded easily as always with Zappos. This model didn’t work for me but will continue to order from them.

Overall excellent shoes for standing all day, especially for me who wears lead all day. One suggestion, the tongue could use more padding

I buy the monsters for my son about once a year for my son. Normally I buy the black pair but surprised him with the blue ones which he loves!

The difference between quality and quantity! Worth every penny. New, shorter laces than my previous ON pair is perfect! Could not be happier!!

If you have worn the original Cloud Monster shoes, expect a similar experience. These run larger all around, with a wide toe box, but the biggest change is the noticeably larger heel area, it feels loose and not secure. If you can get a half size down, I'd recommend it - I am a solid size 13 so went with that as a 12.5 wasn't offered. Like most, if not all On shoes, in about a month they'll develop the loud squeaking noises due to the funky sole we all love/hate, so keep that in mind. Finally, these shoes are best used for running. If you need all day shoes to walk around in, I don't recommend these.

Foot volume seemed too big for my feet. Otherwise good support and stability

I have a pair of the Original Cloudmonsters but these are not as comfortable so I ended up returning them. The design looks great but the fit wasn’t right for me.

Wish I had gone 1/2 a size down. These seem roomier than my previous CloudMonsters

These are the right size/length but are baggy on the sides. The material bags out because it’s cut oddly. Never encounter anything like this before. They are unwearable.

They look extremely different in person than on the website

I purchased these shoes in June 2025. Two months later, one of the shoes has developed a very annoying squeak when walking on a hard surface. I’ve had several On shoes in the past with great results. Maybe I got a bad shoe out of the pair, but I can’t recommend these based on the short time that I’ve owned them.
