Edge of the boot rubbed my ankle just trying them on, not going to work for walking dogs

These boots were exactly what I was looking for--something comfortable, practical, and reasonably stylish. They're perfect for Boston life. I put them on and immediately went out with my dog into the slushy snow and mud for a 45 minute walk with no problems. I got my usual size (8.5) and they fit perfectly with thick socks. They slipped on and off easily, were as comfortable as slippers, my feet stayed warm and dry, and they still looked pristine by the time I returned home. They're cute enough to wear to the shops or to meet a friend for lunch. I love them, and I wish I could afford another pair in black. My only (minor) complaints are these: I got the olive green, and they're more green than they look in the pictures, which is fine, but I think the more subtle olive brown color they appear in the image would have been nicer. Also, I have high arches and I always find Keen shoes a bit lacking in arch support for my needs, and this is the case for these boots as well. However, I think most people will find them supportive. Overall, I'm delighted with the Greta Chelsea and expect I'll be pretty much living in them for about eight months of the year.

I loved these boots! I normally wear 8 in keen (7.5 in other shoes), but in this case, 8 was just a little too loose. So I exchanged for a 7.5. But I love the color and style! So this style felt true to size for me.
