Available choices in the fit options do not apply to the issues, but you have to check something, so it is not appropriate. The size is most likely fine, but due to the width needed in the toe area, I have to order wide, then the heel is too wide and slips. The cushion on the bottom is too soft in the heel. The heel pushes it down too far and when you step, you feel like you are waking on your heels with toes pointed up. I wish there was a wide toe box that did not have to have a wide heel that slips. I need more volume in the toe area due to high instep only. Many manufacturers are failing to provide this need. I have tried them all.

These sneakers have a lot of cushion which really helps my hips not ache. They have decent stability but not as much as the Hoka Gaviota. At times the extra cushion makes me almost turn my ankle. The wide width offers a spacious toe box. The shoe seems a bit long in the 7.5 wide size I got, but the 7s were too snug. The only thing I don’t like is there is cushion under my toes. I assume it was meant for a metacarpal cushion, but I had this same issue when I tried the shoe in the 7s.

These shoes seem to be comfortable for the first few minutes, they are cushy, but not enough stability for me. They are very light weight and hurt my feet.

I really wanted to love these and they were so close to what I was looking for but something just didn’t feel right. Great cushion and a responsive, springy step. Something in the heel cushion felt off center for me and just walking around the house was causing pain/soreness on the bottom of my feet between the arch and the ball. I’ve never had this sensation before. If they are feeling like this trying them out around the house then they definitely are going to be a problem on an eight mile run. I sized up quite a bit because every shoe I’ve tried in my normal size has been too small and narrow. I went up a size and a half + wide and while the size felt close, it was indeed too wide. I’m not sure if that is what was causing the discomfort?? A good shoe to at least try out.

There's so much arch support that it makes you supinate! Or, it's just the anti-pronation designing that's over done! The cushion is great, tho.

These shoes are so soft internally that when I stood up in them I nearly fell over because my heels sunk in the shoes. They feel great but made me feel less stable on my feet than normal. I'm sending them back.

These run really small. Had to return. I wish Zappos had more to choose from. I always end up picking the lesser of 2 evils because there is nothing to choose from. I love Zappos’ service but it is time to find another online shoe company.
