I didn't realize these shoes were the kind you have to actually slide into.....they are too difficult for my foot as I have a very hi instep/arch. I wish this would be mentioned online....avoids alot of waste of time and process. I don't buy that type of shoe....although the style is very cute!

Agree with other review- with my usual size there was a significant slip at the heel. Had to send back. Went with half size down and a wide width. (Some wides work for me) just a slight slip now, keeping them and making them work, LOVE THEM!

The elastic laces didn't work AT ALL for me. Since I knew I probably would return them, I didn't cut them out and try regular laces. I did find (once I struggled to get in them--and straightened the tongues) that they seemed supportive, but I could not use the elastic laces. UGH!

I like the style - the black leather is a tad shinier IRL than in the picture, which makes them eye-catching. The fit is good with decent support and adequate room in the toe box (so far - haven’t worn them all day yet) EXCEPT that the non-adjustable elastic laces hold the stiff leather tongue down such that it digs into my ankle. I’ll probably keep them, but attempt to replace the laces (which will involve some surgery since two of the lace holes aren’t real).

They slipped in the back as the laces are not adjustable. They looked like clown shoes too!

Ordered an 8.5M, and it’s almost half size too big. For reference, I also ordered similar style size 8.5 Dr Scholls Take Time lace up shoes- and they fit properly and I’m keeping those, returning these Vionics. I like the style but don’t love the elastic no-tie laces on these Vionics- I’d replace with regular laces, requiring a little adapting as one lace hole is missing (where the elastic lace is sewn in) but it’s quite doable to make a hole and then use regular lacing. The arch support seems good.
