The size was true and I wanted to love this sandal BUT it was too wide for my narrow foot and the synthetic leather material had a strong odor and felt very stiff around my toes. They also felt slightly higher than 2 inches. Pretty sandal just did not work for me, but Zappos has a great return policy.

Pretty shoe but my usual size did not fit and the strap at the toes was tight and pinched. I sent them back.
