My big toes were pressed against the front of the shoe. I think a 1/2 bigger would be too loose

8.5 is my size every time but this shoe runs short and my heels kept coming out of the back when I walk. For the original price of $155, I thought there would be arch support. The style of the arch structure makes my feet look pigeon toed too. It's a cute shoe in the box but I returned it.
