Based on other reviews, I ordered up a half size, and they are still too small! They really need to get their sizing under control, to be off that far is ridiculous, The shoes were really cute, I am thinking of re-ordering a full size up. They felt comfortable and I love barefoot style shoes and was looking for a new brand to replace XERO for me (as their shoes tend to be ugly and too thin soled). If I get another pair, I will definitely update my review accordingly.

I’ve been wearing Brooks Ghosts to workout for years (have owned 3-4 models of them). The support in them was good, but more recently have felt I could use something with a little less height as I’ve started to lift weights more. My research led me to these F-Flys. Reading the reviews I noted that this style ran small but they did not have a half size up, so I ordered my usual active shoe size. I’m typically a 7.5 in street shoes, 7 in heels, but get an 8 for active shoes to allow a little more space for my toes as I have a callus on the outside of my big toe from ballet dancing days. The 8 I ordered was WAY too small. The top of my big toe was right up against the edge of the toe box, which has never been the case with any size 8 I’ve ordered. However, the width of the toebox was very comfortable so I was willing to try a full-size up to accommodate the toebox comfort. Since receiving the size 9, I’ve done several workouts in them. I’ve never had comfort in a toebox like I’ve had with these F-Flys. I didn’t even realize how uncomfortable certain workout movements (planks, push ups) were for my toes in my Brooks Ghosts until I had these on. They are not particularly cute in my opinion, but I find most active footwear unattractive. I like that I was able to get a fun color (electric pink) which helps to keep me motivated in my workouts. Overall, I would say the comfort of these overrides any unattractive was and the inconvenience of weird sizing for me. Grateful I took a chance on these!

These shoes run small! I ordered my size and then a half size up and they are still too small. Once I find my size I will be able to comment on the fit. NOTE: it is impossible to submit a review without the star rating. It's also impossible to rate the shoes without being able to fully try them on. So I put in 4 stars to indicate that they look well made, but truthfully, that is all I can go on for now.

As weird as it is, this feels like Inov8’s replacement of the F-Lite. I loved the F-lite’s and tried the new model and found myself in a completely different shoe. After reading some reviews on Reddit where people noted this was a closer replacement I gave these a shot. I might have liked the original F-lite’s better but I do appreciate the boomerang insole in these and have been happy with them overall. The sizing runs super small. I’m a 9 in women’s for my regular shoes (7.5 in men’s) and I am a 10.5 in these (8 in men’s). Also these shoes are unisex. If it says they are out of stock in one gender, or the price is lower in one vs. another, they are the same shoe. 10.5W=8M.
