Absolutely LOVE the style, and craftsmanship of this shoe. However, after ordering according to the chart and getting a shoe WAY too big, I ordered a size down and it was STILL too big. I believe this is a MENS shoe- it is WIDE everywhere, and the size chart that shows womens equivalent is wayyyyy off. I am in search of the perfect comfortable classic loafer and thought this might be it, but NOT. I wish Dr. Martens would make a Made-for-women only classic loafer. My search continues. Thankfully Zappos is great about returns.

I wear a US women's 6 or 6.5. The US 6 was far too large. The US 5 was tight--it may have stretched over time, but the sides came up to high and rubbed the bottom of my ankle bone in a painful way. Maybe because I am 5'3? They also just looked clompy on my short frame rather than giving the cool androgynous look I was hoping for.
