The Alegria® Rize is a lightweight, mesh lace-up sneaker featuring a contemporary thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) graphic detail. Designed for all-day comfort, the interior includes a padded heel quarter and a signature removable footbed crafted from memory foam and cork. The shoe is finished with an ultra-lightweight ReBounce™ ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) outsole and a durable rubber base for added traction.

I have worn Alegria sandals and a couple of the original sole style shoes for years. This is the first Alegria sneaker that I have tried. As with most Alegria shoes, if you have a narrow foot, they are probably not for you. I usually have to get a wide shoe to accommodate my very arthritic feet, but wear a medium in Alegrias. The tongue on this shoe is a little stiff, so they might not be good for running - I haven’t been able to run for a long time - so they will work well for my walks. A good mix of support and cushion with good arch support.

I loved these shoes. They are light weight and felt so comfortable initially. They just didn't work for my feet. I have hypermobility syndrome and high arches. It seems I need a more neutral shoe. I was constantly working to stabilize myself in them. I love Alegria Palomas and wear them a lot. But it turns out the "geometry" of Palomas are too different from these.

these felt comfortable from the time I slipped them on. Trying to find arch support, and toe room is difficult. I have had Traq Allegria which were great- but as always shoe companies change a good shoe or discontinue them. These had plenty of toe room, accommodated an insert and wasn't slipping in the heel or rubbing on the tongue.
