Clarks size 7.5 in wide width normally fit me perfectly. I was very happy with my 1st pair in Navy so I bought the same shoe in black which is also supportive and comfortable. In Southern California sandals are often worn all year. Merliah Holly is comfortable, rather dressy & has good support for my bad knee-- as the heel is very stable. Black & Navy are wardrobe color essentials for me rather than accent colors.

There's an overlap under the vamp where the velcro fastener is. It rubbed the top of my arch (I have a high arch), so it was a no go for me. I usually have really good luck with Clarks but this design is a misstep.

I'm a long time Clarks sandal wearer, and when it was time to update I went right back to Clarks for a replacement. The style of the Merliah Holly is comfortable, with some nice give through elastic bands and adjustable with hook & loop. I wear a a 10M and ordered my size based on my past Clarks purchases and was not disappointed. The sandal fits nicely with plenty of arch support.

I found the 9.5 Medium fit perfectly and is SO comfortable. When I opened the box I thought the shoes were black, but the next day in sunlight I realized they ARE a dark Navy. I'll probably seek another pair in a different color.

I like Clark, Easy Spirit, and Baretraps.

Nice shoes, fair arch support. I ordered a 12M and a 12N. The pairs were different in length. See photos. One is 10 3/4 inches, the other just short of 11 1/4 inches. Measurements taken in same place on both shoes. The 12N is longer and a bit snug but I might keep it. I like the navy best but I am worried about consistency in size if I exchange the black for navy. The navy 12M is too short.

Clarks Merliah Holly sandal is visually pleasing and relatively comfortable. However, I have a wide foot and out of the box, the shoes feel a tad too tight. It is leather, so I am sure the leather will stretch with wear and become a favorite pair of shoes; thus, the reason for the four stars on comfort, rather than the two or three I wanted to originally rate. For those of you who have bone spurs, the foot bed is not as soft as I would prefer but there are small silicon pads which I will purchase separately to make these shoes better for me.
