These are the third pair of this shoe I've purchased - that's how much I love them. It looks good and feels great from the shopping mall to the hiking trail. I can't attest to their waterproof-worthiness, but I can tell you that the foot bed is slightly padded and the toe box is perfect for the wider foot. I can definitely walk for miles in these with zero discomfort. The color of this shoe is interesting; it's not a true purple but is more of a purple-taupe and looks great paired with almost any other color. This shoe definitely stands out in a crowd!
