I really like these shoes, but I am a bit confused. The description clearly says that they are waterproof which I really need as I work in a greenhouse, but they are most definitely not waterproof. Like not even a little bit. A single drop of water goes straight through to my socks. A little disappointed because I love the style and fit so much

These are one of the most comfortable shoes i've ever worn! They are a little longer and a little wider in width than most. I have feet that are wide nearer my toes, and also hurt if the heel unnaturally tips my foot forward. So it's not always easy to find shoes that are comfortable. I wear my sneakers everywhere...out to dinner, hiking, errands and long hours doing building construction and masonry. They are sturdy enough to give support, but still flexible, and have some natural materials used. I like these better than the newer ones with Gore Tex (which doesn't work when exposed to dirt). My only criticism is that I preferred the previous navy blue and purple colors to the current options.

I have been wearing the XA PRO for what seems like forever. The most important feature of any shoe is how it fits YOUR particular foot and the XA PRO really seems made for my feet. The shoe is deep enough to accommodate my custom orthotics and are sturdy enough to protect my feet for walking, biking or hiking. I have several pairs and wear them every day. My best guess is that I have been wearing Salomon's for 20 years and I have never had issues with quality or durability. I love the quick lace system and have never had issues with hot spots or sore spots on the tops of my feet.

I absolutely love these shoes! I have been wearing this style for numerous years for everything I do throughout the day. Many miles are accumulated per pair. They provide both arch support and heel stability along with comfortable padding. There are no irritating rubbing seams anywhere. The color schemes keep things interesting! :)

Fit is good and true to size. But they are not waterproof. The online description says they are Goretex, but there are no markings that indicate that on the shoe or the attached marketing materials. Zappos needs to update the description.
