These are an improved version of the original comfort jack offering. The cork base one loosened and the straps went floppy. The gold base ones were an overlay- so they peeled apart. This version is a one piece wrap over the base of the shoe- im hopeful these will last longer than my other pair. These shoes are pretty and wide enough- I love them!
