Customers Say

Customers love these boots for their warmth, keeping feet dry and warm, and find them excellent for cold weather and snow. The appearance receives positive feedback, with customers noting the nice-looking leather. While some find them lightweight, others consider them heavy, and opinions about durability are mixed - some say they last several winter seasons while others report the rubber splitting. Customers disagree on the sizing, with some running small, and opinions on value are divided between those who consider them a great buy and those who find them not worth the price.

Fits true to size for most. Consider a 1/2 size up if you have wide feet or are between sizes.

Review for Zappos VIP Points (What's this?)

Just ordered my second pair (my first set is the coffee color) out of fear that they will discontinue this style. These are comfortable, warm, easy to take on and off and the lace system it the best speed lace I’ve used. They will make your feet sweat, they are not very breathable.

The North Face company has the BEST snow boots ever! They keep both my feet and as well as my husband's comfy and warm in our mountain community. We have had record breaking snowfall here and our feet stay nice and dry. We will always buy North Face boots.

This the second pair of Chilkat I buy, the 1st pair were either the original model or II and both boots exploded on me on the same after +7years (i spent 3 yrs living south, so did no wear them during that period. I went back with the same model as they are very comfortable, waterproof and easy to put on/off and no too high. I just hope that NF improved their sewing process and rubber quality this time.
