I wear a size 7M in almost any shoe I've ever tried (except ones where they recommend you size up a half size), and this one fit just fine. They were very comfortable right away. I have no foot issues beyond a slight bunion on one foot, and the toe box was sized right. I wore them to urban hike in Boston, logging 20,000 steps a day on average. I wear wool socks, and I had no blisters or other issues. I like the clean lines and simple look to them, and am very pleased with the purchase.

Style

Normally I wear a size 9 in all shoes. But this particular size 9 seems to run large. Since I will be wearing them during the winter I purchased an inner sole to take up some of the extra room and I will wear them with heavy socks. They are beautiful shoes, soft and comfortable. If you are planning to order, try a half size smaller.

I love love love the look of this sleek bootie which is incredibly comfortable - EXCEPT that those cute zippers on the sides dig in to my ankles. This is not a style that I would wear with socks that go above the ankle so they are going back - huge bummer.

The bootie is very comfortable right from the start. I did not have to break them in. I wear a size 8 1/2 and that is the size that worked for me. I have thin, bony feet with a narrow heel. I wear them with a thin sock to keep the zipper from rubbing on my ankles. This is a good quality boot.
