I have the worst feet because they are narrow, high arched, boney and very sensitive.. These socks make my feet happy with the cushion being in all the right places. I am prone to blisters on my heels and after going on a long hike I had no problems. The material felt soft and I felt no irritation. I am quite pleased with these socks. #SmartwoolLove

I don't usually go for low ankle socks (more of a crew sock wearer), but having tried these for a few walks they have exceeded expectations. The targeted cushion makes them nice and comfy in my shoes, and the cushion around the back is soft and also seems to help prevent the sock from getting dragged into my shoes as I'm walking/running which has always been a frustration I've had with low socks. These are now my go-to work out socks and walking socks.

I've worn Smartwool socks for about 4 years now and am familiar with their fit, that being said the large (my usual size) does seem to run roomier than I am used to in this particular sock. There is extra space in the toe area I am not used to - this does not necessarily a bad thing just something to be aware of. Also the compression (or specified wrap/hold) in the arch area is not as secure as previous athletic socks I've worn through Smartwool (most notably the PhDs). Otherwise, the cushion in the heel and toe is nice and does not feel bulky, and the color scheme is pleasing. I think these socks will work well in my low hiking boots and trail walking shoes! #SmartwoolLove

All around great running/gym sock. I really like that the cushion is only where I need it, in the forefoot and under the heel, so the sock doesn't feel thick and bulky. The top of the foot is thin, which is a plus in my book. I would like to have a bit more compression through the midfoot/arch that you get in comparable socks from other brands. I' can wear this sock running a few days in a row and it does not slide down in the heel, nor does it lose it's shape. I've washed (and dried!) them and they don't shrink either. #smartwoollove

I have about five pair of these comfortable socks. I have other brands but always choose these. They are great for walking and the gym. Good quality, comfortable and the heels stay up. They also come in interesting colors.
