The Crosbie bootie is superior in fit to the Crosbie slip-on, because it stays on my foot better. It feels a little bigger than some of my 6 - 8year old Cobb Hill boots of the same size, but not so much larger that I can't fix that by wearing a slightly thicker sock. I love the low heel, and the fact that the soles and heels are fairly quiet on my hard floors. Love the style, too, especially the fact that the heel is a straight-sided block heel and does not taper, which can sometimes throw off my balance. The zipper is functional, and the footbed is removable. I wear it with my prescription orthotics and the footbed still in place, and it is very comfortable and stylish. I hope they make it in more colors! I wear a 9.0 W in Cobb Hill shoes, and these are keepers.

I love these boots! I have osteoarthritis in my big toes with painful bone spurs, and have been trying to find shoes that will get me through until I can get the surgery at some point. I also have to wear dress clothes for work. These boots are perfect. They have great support in the soles, and the wide size leaves plenty of room for my feet to move around a little without coming out of the boot. They are very warm, too. And as a bonus, they are cute! The leather is soft so I got some protective spray to keep it nice. After trying on so many others that were just ok I am excited I found some I really want to wear. And my toes are thankful!

I really wanted to love this boot. Very well made and looks great, BUT there is no arch support in these. My foot literally tipped inward when I put them on. They also run very large. I ordered my usual 8.5 wide and they are about 1 1/2 inches too long and also seem very wide. If there was decent arch support I would order a smaller size, but my quest for boots will continue.

These boots are not green at all. They are a pure grey, which is disappointing. However they fit fine and seem true to size. They appear to be well-made. So I will be keeping them.
