The foot bed was off. The arch is too far forward. The ball of my foot rests on the arch. I’ve owned multiple pairs of Birks and never experience this. I was also disappointed that the shearling is only on the bottom of the foot and not through out the entire shoe.

Love these for around the house. Not much tread so a little slippy on freshly Swiffered kitchen floors. But snuggly and the usual Birkie great support. Dog fur definitely sticks to the felt uppers, but I don’t mind. Terrific at-home quarantine shoes. Stay safe, all!

Fit exactly as expected from Birkenstock in my usual size. Lightweight, yet sturdy with the same arch support found in other Birkenstock styles. Has a warm shearling lining in the footbed. Boiled wool uppers and a very stable outer sole. I love these and was so pleased to find them at Zappo's. If you're looking for a cozy and supportive pair of slippers, consider these.

I was looking for a slipper with more arch support and I tried several varieties, but this is the one I'm keeping. It's comfortable, warm, and looks great. I'm a size 7M, but I wear a 38 Regular in the Birk Arizona sandals, so I was a bit unsure about these only coming in Narrow... but the 38 Narrow fits really well, even with medium-thick wool socks. So for me, I didn't need to go up a size. Compared to the Boston Shearling which I also tried, but was too small and I needed to go up a size in that one. Even these Zermatts in 38, the toe box is just a little bit more spacious than the Boston Shearling in 39 and that little bit of extra space makes this one much more comfortable for me. And warmer for my toes since my toes are not being squished, even though the shearling on these is only on the foot bed. So as someone with a medium width foot who is used to wider Birk sandals, this one fit me much better and is much more true to size than the Boston Shearling. And the support is a big improvement over my previous warm-but-kinda-floppy Geisswein slippers! The charcoal is a very nice looking deep gray, too. Hopefully the soles will last, but they are definitely more slipper-like than the normal Birk soles. Adding a photo to show where my heel ends up in the overall length, it feels perfect.

I searched high and low to find these slippers in my size. Zappos did not disappoint; I got them quickly and in a color I liked. Despite having several pair of Birks, these ones did nit work for me. My feet slid and my toes jammed into the front. Even when I put on thick socks, something was weird about the front of the toe box that make them uncomfortable. Sadly, I sent them back.
