Narrower fit than my previous Sperry Docksiders also means that they have a slightly sleeker look. Laces tie better than the Docksiders. I wear them with additional 3/4 insoles for extra arch support and heel cushion. That also moves my heel up high enough, otherwise the top edge of the shoe dug into my Achilles tendon.
As you would think for boating shoes, the sole is nice and grippy, and the look is casual, yet refined. I like them!
