I purchased this shoe for my 95-year-old mother. Everything I have tried for her is either too hard to get on, too short, bothers a toe problem, uncomfortable to walk in, etc. She tried these on and loved them immediately. After several weeks wear, she still loves them. They are the only shoes she wears. I guess I will have to get her another pair. And they do not look like "old lady" shoes.

For many years I have had multiple problems with my feet. I have no natural padding on my feet and as I have gotten older and my joints have enlarged, it has become more and more painful to walk in most shoes. However, this shoe is extremely comfortable, with a lot of good support. I ordered two sizes: 9.5N and 9.0N. My foot has indeed obecome slightly longer. I am keeping the 9.5N and plan to exchange the other shoe for 9.5M in another color. I highly recommend this shoe for problem feet.

I purchased these shoes for my little 88 year old mother. She was so excited when she opened the box she immediately put them on. She loved, loved, loved them! The shoes fit perfectly, comfortable and very stylish (not to mention very safe)for "senior" shoes. She's wearing them constantly now and enjoying every step.

LOVE MY NEW SAS SHOES! I read a review about the width being "not true to size." I took a chance. I wear a wide shoe. I ordered women's 11 W. Worked well for me. Have them on right now. Any other size would not have worked and a WW would have just been too wide. The shoe is a bit slippery...it is a boat shoe....I will need to rough them up on the bottom. I think that is something to consider. For me, I love the style and the fit...I will deal with it. The color is awesome, exactly like the photo. I do not know how I could be more pleased. I just had 4 surgeries on my feet in Noverber 2016. These are my summer shoes. The leather is so very soft and such a delicate color that will work with every aspect of my summer wardrobe, while my ankles and feet heal. Cozy.

My podiatrist insists I wear orthotics all the time, for a dropped metatarsal and cracked sesamoid. He also says I need to wear shoes with a closed back to prevent tendinitis. I complained that I wanted to wear sandals in the summer. He suggested two brands that might have something suitable: SAS and Orthofeet. I was SO glad to find these. The requirements: they have a removable insole, so my orthotics fit; not only is it a closed heel, but it's firm enough to hold my foot in place and cushioned really well-- no rubbing on the heel. They are comfortable, with soft leather. They're cool in the summer, just perfect since there are basically no actual sandals I can wear. I'm an 8 m, and these fit perfectly. The cushioning all around the top is really comfortable. I like the way they look, too. Basically fisherman sandals. I now have them in 2 colors--sage and linen. So glad to have something other than walking shoes that need socks in the summer. Can't praise these enough!
