The shoe is adorable. BUT there are 3 main problems. Be aware that there is virtually no arch support, secondly the optic white is definitely NOT white. It's an off white with white laces. Lastly, for this price point for a casual sneaker, one would like to have support, comfort and color accuracy. Sadly, had to return them.

I had been on a long search for this style of basic white sneaker and coming up with a lot of uncomfortable, clunky options. These are jusssst right. The white is a great color (a slight gray cast that helps them not be so blindingly white and look better against my pale ankles) and the contrasting panel on the back is the perfect neutral. They also have a slim profile for this style shoe and they are LIGHT--like when you have them on they have almost no weight at all. Nothing feels clunky or stiff or rubs in the wrong place. The leather is buttery soft and they are super comfy to wear barefoot. Due to the lightness, they have a pretty thin sole and very basic insole, so if you are looking for a ton of arch support, size up and add an insert or choose another shoe. If you want something light and comfortable that you can easily drive or run around after kids in, this is for you. They seemed a bit pricey to me for such a basic shoe (thus the four overall stars), but I have gotten a lot of wear out of them so it was a pretty solid purchase.

This attractive light-weight tennis shoe has a lot of good attributes for the correct feet. Alas, my feet need a better arch support and a tiny bit more width across the toes in order for them to be happy. I'm returning them with gratitude to ZAPPO'S where attitude and customer service really, really count. Thanks, Zappo's!

I received these as a gift through Zappos, and couldn't be happier with this shoe; I've been raving to everyone about them. After months of searching for the perfect black sneaker- this one is super lightweight, looks great on my foot (not too clunky or clown-like), and is so comfortable. I think they've even become more comfy with time. As a mom of two under 3, I never buy shoes anymore that don't pass the "holding one child and running after the other" test- these are both functional and stylish. Will be buying more colors for spring!
