I purchased 4 pairs of this lovely shoe. I was 64 when l first bought the black then followed at intervals with the ballet pink, rough toupe and smooth tan followed. Knew they were designed for younger women but life is short. This shoe wasn’t around in my glory days, lol, so l enjoy them now while l can. One review lamented on how the low toe revealed her bunion; one reason l love them is how the bunion is free and hurting from rubbing the inside of a shoe. I am a barefoot person as soon as l get home but this shoe is comfy as a Daniel Green slipper. The nice wide elastic straps give great support to my weary, collapsed ankles. I can wear this shoe from morning to bedtime and only Minnetonka moccasins have fit that bill for me. I adore these. Yes, uptight people see my shoes first then my wrinkly face and white hair and may feel smug satisfaction they are not an old woman who looks ridiculous in shoes like ballet toe shoes. So what. I hope they shed inhibitions and wear lovely shoes not made for grannies when they reach my age. The shoes are very well made from excellent materials and fabrics and have held up like brogans, lol, look that shoe up! I wear these shoes with jeans, slacks, skirts, dresses (longer hems enhance the look) and loungewear. Everything. Sadly l missed out on the beautiful striking navy made about 3/4!years ago; it was an amazingly deep blue. I hope you find these as lovely too. If not, Zappos will surely have a few dozen you’re sure to love. Wear what makes you smile. My heels had their time and place for 40 years. Now I’m thankful for such a great combination of comfort and beauty.

I'm a standard 8.5 and these shoes fit true to size in length, but the width was off for me. I do have a narrow-ish foot, but I'm generally fine without going to a truly narrow size. In general, the shoes were lovely and soft, but the width (particularly in the front foot) was a turn off. Additionally, the entry mechanism - sliding your foot through the straps, rather than a zip back - was cumbersome and didn't offer a truly snug fit. Additionally, it felt as though the straps would get very stretched out very quickly - thus the shoes have been returned. Instead, I purchased the Kenneth Cole Reaction Pro Time (in my standard size) and am incredibly happy I did.

A tad short in the toe, but look great. Are quite comfortable to walk in as well. I am an older woman, and although these might look too young for me, I really like them. Very stylish. And the heel cannot slip, like a lot of flats do.

How adorable are these shoes?!?! They are comfortable, well-made, and a beautiful style. Unfortunately for me, there was not enough coverage of my foot. The vamp went right exactly to the ball of my foot, leaving my bunions sticking out. The shoe as much as accented and displayed my bunions. Not a good look for me at all! I was so looking forward to wearing these but sadly will have to return them. If you don’t have bunions, they’ll probably work for you.

These are so cute and comfy! I have trouble finding flats that fit well because I have short toes -- my foot tends to slide forward in the shoe and then the heel rubs or flops around rather than staying put. My other flats all either have elastic or are wide enough I can size down for length. These fit great, because although they are a tiny bit long for my foot, the straps keep my heel from sliding. I love the ballet shoe look which will be nice with skirts and cropped pants. With long pants, the straps are covered so they will just look like regular flats.
