I cannot say enough about these shoes. My twins have been wearing them since they were babies. My son's feet have grown out if the size run, but I just ordered four pairs for my daughter Cheer and Danielle. We are obsessed! We have had all of the colors of Cheer and every Danielle. I just showed her the shipment of bubble gum in both styles and she is one happy six year old! I wish they still made baby pink though. We love Footmates! My Daughter walked all over Disney World in these with no issues at all!

My granddaughter has really really narrow feet and she wears a uniform. Because these shoes are a tie up, they work out well. They would be considered (as my mother would say) a strong shoe. She doesn't like to wear shoes. So the fact that she will keep them on for extended periods of time says that they are comfortable on her feet. I would definitely recommend them to others.

FootMates has got to be the most frustrating company in the history of kids’ shoes. They make so many cute, classic kids’ styles — and their leather shoes do seem very well made — but for some mysterious reason, they make their toe boxes long and VERY short. Unless the top part of your kid’s foot is very, very flat, these shoes probably won’t fit. I’m 2 for 2 on kids whose insteps are just too tall to wear FootMates, which is a drag. This brand would be my go-to for dress shoes if only the shoes fit.
