These USED to be most awesome comfortable heals ever. As other reviewers have noted, the leather was like butter, they snugged your foot like a glove, they were SO comfortable for such a cute, high heal. So wonderful, in fact, that this is my 4th pair. And I'm heartbroken. They still look mostly the same. But, the leather is now hard and unyielding. They are so uncomfortable. And consequently they don't fit as well. I have no idea why Franco Sarto changed these - maybe that particular type of leather became more expensive or harder to get? But these are nothing like they used to be, and its a damn shame because I honestly would've paid twice as much for them. So when you read the other reviews about how comfortable and soft this leather is, please be aware, it is NOT that way anymore!

These shoes are AMAZING. I didn’t have to break them in at all. They look beautiful with pants and gorgeous with a skirt! I want them in every color! I wear an 8 or 8 1/2. Ordered an 8 1/2 and they’re perfect. Wore for 6 hours at work on the first day with a good bit of walking. No discomfort at all. Heel placement is superb. Did I mention I love them?

I went back and forth on these and went over the reviews MANY times. I have wide feet, normally wear 7.5, and that holds true to most shoes. I bought a cheap pair similar to these a couple years ago and remember them being so tight. The reviews for this specific shoe weren’t particularly helpful in deciding what size to order. I went up a half size to an 8, and am so thankful I did. There is no way I would have fit my wide feet into a 7.5. This shoe is very well made and SUPER cute. Walked around in them in the house only, haven’t had a chance to wear them out yet. So far very happy with the purchase.
