Why are the bottoms of these so rounded? They feel like shape ups. I want me feet on the ground underneath me. Return

The color and style was super cute, but gave me foot pain immediately after just trying inside the house. It felt narrower and my big toe hit the tip. I have several Merrell shoes and all of them are in the same size, so it was weird. Not just the feet, but also the ankle started to hurt. So I am not sure of the arch support, but how it supports my feel/legs was at least not good. It might be too cushiony.

Fits true to size for most. Consider a 1/2 size up if you have wide feet or are between sizes.
