These shoes are great with one exception: the tongue. I'll never understand companies that allow stitching to be done along the edges of the tongue that leave edges exposed. You have to wear socks that rise well above the tongue, or it'll rub against your skin when you move. Otherwise the fit is great, they're nice and light, and they have structural changes compared to other Vans that provide better support and I think will avoid that split in the sole rubber that usually occurs by the big toe area.

This is not a review of the item, but of the poor customer service when an error was made on Zappos end. I placed my order and received a literal pair of toddler shoes. When I contacted customer service, all they could offer was to charge me for the shoes I already paid for to be replaced, while they await my cancellation and return. Nothing else. No, sorry, we made an error, here is 10% off your next order. No, let us replace the order with the correct shoes while you mail the other back. Nothing. My business would have made amends for such a blatant error, this business? They couldn't care less about their customers. I am done here.
