Question

are these 100% waterproof?

Best Answer

The Dolce Vita Julio is water-friendly, not fully waterproof. While its PVC/TPU vinyl construction means splashes and getting wet at the pool or beach won't ruin the material, the footbed padding is often synthetic or nylon. Continuous submersion can degrade the material.

Love these sandals- they are very comfortable but also chic! I got the dark brown color and love that it goes with everything. I sized up to a 10 (usually a 9/9.5) and I am glad I did. Otherwise- my heel would JUST hit the back which I dont like with my sandals.

Review for Zappos VIP Points (What's this?)

These are super fun! I found that the fit was true to size. I wear a 10 and these are 10. The lighter ones are a peachy translucent color. Though they have a buckle, they do not rub against the top of my foot. The front strap doesn't allow my toes to slide forward, but are comfortable, and the upper strap fits nicely, not too tight and not too loose. The sole is a tiny bit stiff, but it is cushioned, so I feel like this combo helps my feet to not slip forward or backward, compared to flexible straps like sketchers and puffy sandals, or synthetic uppers would be. The bottoms have a tiny octopus suction pattern, about the same scale as bubble wrap, so I'm confident that I'll maintain grip in grass, by the pool, or other smooth or slick surfaces.

Love the style. Love walking in them. I do not love how I ended up with a blister on each big toe as well as a third one right below my ankle. They were comfortable until they weren’t.
