Customers Say

Customers find these loafers to be of amazing quality, comfortable, and very good looking, with one customer noting they feel like wearing slippers all day. The shoes are soft, with one customer describing them as feeling like butter, and customers appreciate their versatility, with one mentioning they can be worn as both casual and dressy shoes. Customers disagree on the fit, with some finding them perfect while others say they run narrow.

Review for Zappos VIP Points (What's this?)

I'm a loafer connoisseur. I own around 30 pairs. These Frye penny loafers are among the most comfortable loafers I own! No break in period, they fit like a glove. I've purchased a couple pairs of loafers made of very cheap leather ("cough, cough" - French Sole) that created deep creases right away and looked awful after a single wear. I read a review that made me a little afraid the same thing would happen to these shoes. I'm happy to report that doesn't seem to be an issue. There's some light creasing (see pic), but that's to be expected with any leather shoe after some wear. I posted one pic before wearing them, and another pic after significant wear (they're very different lighting conditions, but I promise it's the same shoe). I think they've held up great. Overall, I'm very happy with these shoes! Stylish and comfortable!

This shoe feels like butter. It is so smooth and pliable. I love a good, structured penny loafer, but this is the shoe that I will put next to the sneakers that stay by the door. When I first unboxed them, I wore them all around the house, up and down the stairs, and these are ready for miles directly out of the box. The only thing I need to decide is if I will go ahead and get a backup pair for when I eventually reach the point when these are too worn to continue wearing.
