With a 15 difference between my waist and hips, I really struggle to find pants that fit so the stretch on these is perfect for me! They fit tight on my hips, but the stretch makes it so comfortable and flattering. I have no waist gap which is amazing and super rare for me! I definitely recommend them for pear or hourglass shapes and suggest you buy them based off your waist measurement because the hips will stretch to fit. They are in the short side though so at 56, I bought the tall and it covers my ankles but does not touch the ground.
