The shoe color is great and I really like the washable footpad. They are stiff but the primary problem are the elastic bands on the straps. They stretch and make the shoe too loose. It seems it is the only shoe that Spring Step makes that has the elastic but I didn't realize that before I received them. There are also two velcroed straps which are sufficent for adjustment.

Every part of this lovely sandal fit except the back of my foot kept "walking" out of the backstrap. Tightening them as much as I could and my heel still kept coming out just trying them on, twice. Nothing I could do to adjust them more, the way they are made. The colors, subtle pattern, velcro on 2 upper feet fit and looked Great, but the heel was awful for me. Have to return.

I tried the size 38 and they were too large - 7 1/2 - 8 and so I ordered the 37 and they are too small 6 1/2 - 7. Unfortunately when a shoe is trying to bridge two sizes, it seems, for me, that neither size fits. It seems they build on the smaller size or the larger size and the 6 1/2 or 8 and the size in the middle gets lost
